USE-GAP selected as Beijing Torch Plan Project

[Beijing Mar 8 2008] The Global Application Platform (GAP), core product of USE with Intellectual Property Rights, has been selected as a Beijing Torch Plan Key Project today.

With inclusion in the Plan, GAP will get more policy support to its development and wide application. UFIDA Software Engineering Co. Ltd. is the first software outsourcing company in Beijing to be included in the plan. This indicates the successful innovation in application platform development by USE.

USE-GAP is the components based fast developing platform, which was the core product designed by USE. It is not only an assistant tool of application software development, but also a highly reuse model for mass production software development. Now 60% products of USE has used GAP which reduce the cost by 30 percent compared to the original platform.

The inclusion in the Beijing ''Torch Plan'', once again attest to the strengths and capabilities of USE. It will benefit the research and development of GAP and contributes to the IT services export of the country.
