CEO & President Kai Shao wins China Self-innovation Person of the Year Award 2008

[Beijing May 22, 2008] Mr. Kai Shao, CEO & President of UFIDA Software Engineering, received the honor of China Self-innovation Person of the Year 2008 at the award ceremony of the 11th CHITEC International Forum on Innovation and Development of High-tech Enterprises held in Beijing today.

The China Self-innovation Person of the Year 2008 award recognizes entrepreneurs, researchers, managers and organizations that have made remarkable contribution to the innovation of technology, software outsourcing service, business mode and integration during the past year.

Mr. Kai Shao was nominated and selected for his entrepreneurship and outstanding innovation in information technology services and the success in building UFIDA Software Engineering into one of the leading IT service providers in China.

The person of the year is selected by an elite panel of judges including the UN Vice secretary-general Sha Zukang, 2006 Nobel Economy prize winner in Economics Edmund Phelps, President of University of Maryland C.D.(Dan)Mote, Jr. , leadership of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, It Outsourcing China and representatives of the mass media. The Award has been given since 2007 and is expected to continue annually. Mr. Kai Shao becomes the first one in the field of IT services to claim the award since its inception.

About CHITEC

China Beijing International High-tech Expo(CHITEC), approved by Chinese Government, is a large-scale international high-tech & trade Expo held annually in Beijing.

The CHITEC is jointly hosted by several Ministries and the People's Government of Beijing Municipality. The organizer is China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council (CCPIT Beijing).
