Our client is amongst top 100 companies in the world. It is one of the largest electronic enterprises. This client has been a leading company in electronic industry for more than 100 years. The client's headquarter is in Europe, it has more than 100,000 employees worldwide.
 
Customer Requirement
In order to support the business process, our client is adopting to the state-of-the-art information systems. At the same time, it has an extremely huge development team computerizing manual processes to offer information systems. Being one of the largest business groups in the world, the requirement of computerization comes from different layers. Some of them come from the group layer; some comes from company layer, while others come from the department layer. The core ERP system is SAP, which has global deployment, meaning that changing its functions and processes randomly is not possible. As a result, various special requirements cannot be implemented or satisfied using SAP alone. Also, its own huge development team is focusing on the big scale project, which leaves no time to implement a large number of small projects. The client needs some additional services from our company to help make the entire project run smoothly.
 
Role of USE
UFIDA Software Engineering (USE) passed the client's global supplier qualification certificate in 2004, and began to provide computerization to the customers. Our customers knew USE for the following strengths

2. USE's development team is capable of dealing with all sorts of different technologies: Java, .Net, C and other major technologies, comprising BI, Embedded and similar special technologies.
3. USE has a flexible management models. It includes project, ODC (Offshore Development Centre), Onsite Services etc. USE can perform in accordance with customer's needs, ranging from a development project team of some dozens of people, to a small project team including just one person.

1. Sql Server 2005 Data Mining
Business Target
Pick up and acquire effective, novel and potential data form huge amounts of data, and proceed with data analysis. Design public standard reports according to the customer's interest and requirements. Design customized reports for each BU (Business Unit) in the client company in accordance with their individual special requirements. Search report facilitation makes it a faster and more efficient way to work.

Technology
Use SSIS（SQL Server Integration Service）、SSAS（SQL Server Analysis Services）and Vs .NET 2005 provided by Sql Server 2005 to implement the design.

Scale
6 developers complete this project in only 15 months. The system generated data is widely used by each BU (Business Unit) in this client company now.

2. Report
Business Target
Automatically generates various reports according to requirements of the client, in order to classify different types of products in each department. This also includes data comparison with the last fiscal year and provides budget statistics. This provides advantage to sales people who are released from the complicated manual operation of generating reports.

Technology
Use VBA, Vs.net 2005 and Sql Server2005.

Scale
10 developers complete this project in only 12 months.

3. OEM System
Business Target
Due to a the large number of data generated each day, our CLIENT is eager to adopt a new system which can replace the present functions of data format checking, data analysis and data report generation in the current system. The new system supports multi-report generation, customized printing and other such functions, which can more accurately and timely reflect, products.

Technology
Front end uses Ajax, all the generated reports are all drawn manually by gdi. Users can modify the graph directly to visualize the graph more clearly. The back end is developed using Vs.Net2005 and Sql Server 2005.

Scale
3 developers completed this project in 6 months. The system is used in the Marketing department to acquire product marketing statistics, analyze these statistics and establish the next operation guidelines. This system also supports the internal simultaneous usages of the entire management staff within the client.
